What is the best I can do for my child?
I am a very reflective person, so I often used to ask myself this question. And the answer would always remain the same in my heart- connect my child to Allah. The best I can do is to ensure there is a strong bond between him and Allah. For if this bond is intact, he will be able to overcome all that comes his way in life.
But how do I do this? I know the rules, I know the instructions, I know the theory, but something is missing, something is lacking and I just can’t figure it out and I can’t put my finger on anything. What’s wrong with what I am doing?
After my years of experience in teaching children, my own as well as others’, interviewing a countless number of parents and grandparents, my years of book learning and consulting the elders in my community, I was finally able to join the dots and solve this puzzle.
