Raising righteous Muslim children is a noble and yet tremendous task. Children are referred to as gifts in Islam, the apple of our eyes. They are Amanah and it’s our job as parents to help them become strong Muslims who choose deen over Dunya in all matters. But none can raise a child without re-raising themselves in the process. We first have to raise the child inside us, so we don’t project our own weaknesses and insecurities onto our children.
This course covers how to master the art of peaceful parenting to inculcate Islamic manners in children; how to respond as opposed to react, how to raise a child who loves Allah and the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him); how to protect children from negative influences; and how to choose connection over correction and discipline without disrespecting. Taking this course will equip parents and guardians with the tools necessary for raising righteous Muslim children in today’s age.
