Developing trust with the child
Last night, I and Ibrahim (my son) were listening to the Think and Grow Rich audiobook. He then strikes up a very interesting conversation
– Mum, can I write something for your website
– Erm, yeah. What would you like to write about?
– How parents can build trust with their child?
– Interesting. Ok, write.
This morning straight after breakfast, he opened up the laptop, opened word, and typed up the following. A piece of information about how you can build trust with your child by a 10-year-old boy. The unedited, unabridged, and original piece 😛
Developing trust with the child, by Ibrahim Fayziddin, age 10
First, it is easier to do this from an early age, you must let them know that the thing they are doing is wrong. You do this by of course by telling them it is wrong as they do not understand. You must tell them to ask permission first then do what there doing. One of the main things that they may do is watch we probably have this problem in every family. If they cross the boundary then the only logical thing is punishment, I find physical punishment ineffective, especially for older children who have gotten used to this from an early age. You should probably ground them which is very effective, and you could also take away some of the regular screen time.
No mother likes punishing their children all we hear these days is to be strict! But that is not true it is the exact opposite you should give more love so that they will love you so much that they wouldn’t betray your trust. This doesn’t always work so you should probably give them regular screen time but not too much because the more you give the more, they want and as a child, I vouch for this the less you give the more grateful they will be this statement is proven to be true by most experienced mothers. So, strictness is good, but it has its bad sides the more you are strict the more curious they will be. If you are strict with them from a young age this may cause problems especially when they become teenagers.
Saying I love you and I always will twice a day could have a big impact on the child afterward. As your child grows older, they will want more independence and they will hide their love and show more respect if you always have been loving them and showing them that directly your whole life that is what will happen. Many mothers doubt their children’s love so please don’t doubt it.
You should never give your child a device no matter what age they are until you fully trust them. Whatever I have learned in this life in my ten years of existence I have learned from the people around me, humans are social creatures so tell your child to stop being an introvert. The reason I am the way I am is that I learned I tried to comprehend, and I did this is what happens to many social people.
THE END.
