Day 10: How to use your Islamic Homeschooling Journal and Planner
I know homeschool planning can feel like a tremendous task. I understand completely because 10 years ago to plan and homeschool three children felt such a scary idea even to a qualified teacher like me! Therefore, we have put together a free webinar to ensure every mother who purchases “The Well-Planned Muslim Mum” will get the best out of it insha’Allah. The webinar will be recorded with lifetime access, so you can go back to it to pick out the hidden gems any time you feel stuck in your planning inshaAllah.
Alhamdulillah, this planner is very flexible and easy to use. Allow us to take you on a journey where how to use all segments of the planner and journal will be explained so you can derive a maximum benefit inshaAllah.

Please note, “The Well-Planned Muslim Mum” is a digital product downloadable as PDF after purchase. It is divided into six sections. You will have to either print your own copy and get it spiral-bound or place it inside a ring binder folder. We recommend the following:

Print out sections 1, 2, and 3. Place inside the ring binder folder. Sections one and two provide you with essential background information to get your planning grounded inshaAllah. These pages can also be compiled as an easy guide-book and referred back any moment you lose your focus and want to gain back clarity. Sections one and two are journal pages, so those who purchase “Journal Only” option will get this. Please try to put time aside and answer all questions in WRITING inshaAllah.
Sections 3, 4, and 5 are Planner. Section three gives you a Yearly Overview. You will be able to have a look at an academic year covering September 2020- Aug 2021 and note down any important dates. Year at a glance page is followed by individual monthly calendars which will give you a chance to write down dates for your homeschool terms, monthly projects, field trips, special Islamic dates and holidays, family vacations, weeks you want to take time off homeschool due to travels or other family commitments, etc.
Sections 4, 5, and 6 don’t need to be printed in one go. They are Monthly, Weekly and Daily Planning pages respectively. One of the advantages of this planner is its flexibility. You don’t have to print all of the 365 pages in one go and you don’t have to use every part. You have the total freedom to pick and choose the pages you need for each week or each month if you don’t want to use all of it. For example, some mothers don’t like meal planning or cleaning schedules and want to plan only homeschool related stuff (leaving the home-management planning sheets out). While others want to micro plan down to the weekly shopping list and daily chore-charts (like we do). You can print the pages you select monthly and just add them to the ring binder folder every month. You may want multiple copies of some of the planning sheets and not require others. So instead of printing all in one ago, print as you need every month inshaAllah.
