Let me start by thanking Allah for such an amazing opportunity to be part of such a transformational course by Iroda and her team. This course put all my book learnings about parenting into Islamic format that made total sense now and suggestions were super practical. I learned the confidence and what my priorities should be in my roles as mother, wife and professional working woman. I learned the importance of setting right intentions, and prioritizing myself and my needs in order to be the best in my roles and serve my loved ones as best as I can while allowing myself to be perfectly imperfect human being. When I have challenging situations with my kiddos, I now have Iroda's calming voice in my head guiding me through in right steps to Respond rather than React. I wish I could summarize all I learned throughout the course and share with everyone but it is impossible to do so. It is totally life changing changing experience to go through the course with Iroda since she is best at explaining what you need to know about parenting, self growth and homeschooling. If I could, I would make this course requirement for all mothers regardless of any stage of parenting they are currently in. It fills you up with positive energy and gives you sisterly push to do better job at what you are already doing. Enjoy and have fun learning.

This course taught me to be mindful of the way I raise my kids. Intention is everything and with the right intentions I can conquer the day. I feel every Muslim woman should attend this course. Jazak’Allah khair to sister Iroda for benefiting us with her knowledge and experience

I am a mother of four kids ranging from 13 years down to 2, earlier homeschooling but now sending them to Islamic school (last 2 yrs). Although they are back in school, we all experienced the lockdown of covid and ended up homeschooling nonetheless. This made me more happy than sad or anxious, because I felt that I was able to nurture the things in them that I was falling short of when they were in school. This course coming at this time gave me a boost and uplifted me from where I was feeling I might lose it. With all family at home, it was getting overwhelming, and what I learned about self-care, soothing the inner child, really helped me cope. Also tips about training kids and ourselves to be mindful and how to delegate chores and then how to be appreciative is something that taught me a lot. 'Perception is projection' was a major takeaway for me and something I want to actively pass to my kids. I was not actively participating in the support group, but all members shared a lot of valuable advices and experiences that added to my takeaways. Jazakumullah Khair Sr. Iroda and team for putting this together! Really helped me discover a lot within myself that I need to commend and correct. May Allah allow us to act upon what beneficial knowledge we have learnt.

This course is an absolute must for all Muslim mothers whether they choose to formally homeschool or not. I have never come across anyone who so effortlessly painted a realistically achievable picture of competence for the roles a woman plays; first and foremost her responsibility to her self and her spirituality, then to her family and home. Where homeschooling always appeared to be a daunting prospect, my priorities have been set right by Iroda who shows by example, what homeschooling actually encompasses. What I really like about her course is that she lays out steps of actions so that we are not shown just the outcome but also the process to reach it. Without even formally homeschooling at the moment, I have become far more intentional in my interaction with my kids in order to constantly build their characters, and respond more calmly to situations. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to give their child the best of themselves, whilst being at peace with your own self. Many times we have an intuition that certain things are correct, but rarely does someone come and put it all together for you so you can see the bigger picture.

In the daily rut of the monotonous life of a mother , things are almost always cluttery this course gave me the motivation to pick myself truly and embrace my authentic self. Packed with 4 weekly sessions this course is concised, thorough and exactly knows where you are coming from. It gives you elements to bloom where Allah SWT has planted you. I have been able to make conscious and diligent efforts in managing my role as a mother alhamdulillah. The content of the course refers to Islam frequently giving you a holistic approach and alongside the modern researches in the realms of parenting and motherhood. I feel grateful that Allah SWT gave me the opportunity to take this course and be a part of a supporting BWURP community. Jazakillahu khair Sister Iroda & the RYS team for putting this course.
